Wish Films was formed in 2006 by the creative team behind Tell-Tale Productions, Iain Lauchlan and Will Brenton, and their Head of Production, Helen Cadwallader.

Whilst running Tell-Tale, they created and produced some of the most popular UK children’s television including ‘The Tweenies’ (BBC – 390 episodes – the BBC’s biggest ever commission), ‘Boo!’ (BBC – 104 episodes), ‘BB3B!’ (BBC – 13 episodes) and ‘The Fun Song Factory’ (GMTV/CiTV – 72 episodes)

Wish Films’ first commission was the production of ‘Jim Jam and Sunny’, CiTV’s biggest ever commission at 260 x 11-minute live-action episodes. This was quickly followed by commissions for ‘Wibbly Pig’ (BBC), ‘Mighty-Mites’ (BBC) and ‘Florries Dragons’ (DISNEY)

Over the years, Will has been rewarded with a BAFTA, six BAFTA nominations, an RTS award, along with nominations at the British Animation Awards, the Broadcast Awards and winning another 14 awards in total.

"Wish Films intends to produce High-Quality indigenous programming for children in the UK, from pre-school to pre-teen, with strong universal appeal and the ability to travel easily to other territories."
